Pampered Chef Party

Hello! I wanted to invite you to a fun little get together I am having on November 12th. Valerie Blake (for those of you who aren't sure who she is she used to be in our ward) has asked me to have a Pampered Chef party because she just started selling it and wants to use me to get comfortable doing it. I promise there will be no pushy sales stuff (other than the demo which you get a super yummy dessert out of). I mostly want to do it to have a fun get together with friends and friends of friends.
I hope that you will come and it would be even better if you brought someone with you! I know these parties are hard to go to because you feel obligated to buy something but PLEASE DON'T if you know me you know I really could care less I truly thought this would be a fun way to get back involved with everyone again since I have been working so much.
If you have a chance RSVP if not my door will be open and if you can't make it but have heard a friend asking if you knew where to get Pampered Chef stuff you'll actually have an answer for them (at least until the 12th.....) I really hope to see you there!

Get on the Road to Safety

The Queen Creek Fire Department, in conjunction with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, presents the "Get on the Road to Safety" celebration at Queen Creek Marketplace. The event will focus on educating the public on vehicle safety while offering fun family activities for the community. The event will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the center and will feature displays and demonstrations from several Queen Creek public safety departments.

Using the Jaws of Life, the Queen Creek Fire Department will demonstrate the process of cutting passengers out of a vehicle damaged from a high-speed crash and treating them for life threatening injuries.

The Fire Department will demonstrate the process of extinguishing a car fire, live!

Community residents are invited to bring their collectible and historic cars to display at the no-host car show at the event. There will be no entry fee to display a car, and the first 200 cars on display will receive event goodie bags filled with great gifts. The car show will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a manager’s choice award presented by the Marketplace Manager at 1 p.m.
Enjoy displays of antique fire trucks, antique police cars, an Air‑Evac helicopter, road equipment and Maricopa County Sheriff's Office vehicles. Learn how to properly install a car seat and the correct way to use a fire extinguisher through a state-of-the-art computerized demonstration. Enjoy food samples from the restaurants at Queen Creek Marketplace and browse displays from center retailers and other community businesses while visiting the event.
