Saturday, Nov. 8 will mark an historic day for Queen Creek with the grand opening of the new Queen Creek Library. Residents are invited to join the celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library site. A free Park & Ride will be available from Queen Creek Marketplace (southwest corner of Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop roads).
The new library, located at the northwest corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, is designed to provide a gathering place for people of all ages. It includes the Mary Lou Fulton Children's Center, a Teen Oasis, general reading areas, public computers, study rooms, conference rooms and Town recreation programming space. The library is a partnership between the Town of Queen Creek and the Maricopa County Library District.
